This autumn graduating actors from the Arts University Bournemouth will be offering audiences what director Sean Aita describes as a ‘Grimm experience’ when they perform tales adapted from the classic Brothers Grimm, by Tim Supple and Carol Ann Duffy.

The original tales are rather dark, and blood-thirsty so as a result the AUB is recommending an age limit for the performance of 10+.  The designs for the show, created by student designers Greta Smetoniute and Jemma Avant, are highly contemporary and the show uses a wide range of different story- telling mediums.

“It should be an extremely exciting and powerful experience,” says Aita. As well as listening to some great stories the audiences will be offered some truly cutting edge visual effects.
